As I sit down to write my last message, so many wonderful memories start flooding back. The privilege of serving as President of this amazing organization has truly been a blessing and an honor. I am so proud of the work we have all done to put a spotlight on the nonprofits in the greater San Antonio area that work tirelessly to transform the lives of people in our community.
I love that Impact San Antonio empowers women to be philanthropists, while also giving us the opportunity to give back to our community and participate in making a difference. And I am so thankful for the many connections that I have made with fellow members, their family and friends, sponsors, and agencies. Impact San Antonio has truly touched my life in ways I could have never imagined.
Looking forward to 2024 and Impact San Antonio’s 20th Anniversary, I cannot wait to see how this milestone year unfolds in our amazing grant-making cycle. Passing the baton to Sharon Jones Schweitzer, I know that she will lead us with grace and inspiration as we continue to grow the awareness of Impact San Antonio and our successes. Your Board and other volunteers are already hard at work planning events to share the story of Impact San Antonio and our grant recipients. If you are thinking about joining or renewing your membership, I encourage you to do it now!
