Impact San Antonio was recently featured on the local podcast, The Heart of San Antonio, which is produced by the Low Vision Resource Center and OWL Radio. The Heart of San Antonio highlights individuals, nonprofits and other organizations that are making a positive impact in San Antonio. Impact San Antonio President Yvonne Grothues, along with Scott Badger, representing Impact SA 2024 High Impact Grant recipient Texas Ramp Project, share stories of how our grants benefit local organizations, like Texas Ramp Project, and the communities they serve. Summer at Impact San Antonio is grant review time. This is one of the most meaningful parts of our year, as our member volunteers carefully review applications and consider which projects can make the greatest impact in our community. Narrowing it down from this year’s 99 applications to just our 10 finalists is no easy task.
