Hello, friends! I hope your summer has been filled with a little rest, a little sunshine, a little rain, and plenty of time with the people who matter most.
Summer at Impact San Antonio is also grant review time. This is one of the most meaningful parts of our year, as our member volunteers carefully review applications and consider which projects can make the greatest impact in our community. Narrowing it down from this year’s 99 applications to just our 10 finalists is no easy task.
Our full membership will then decide which of those 10 finalists will receive a $100,000 High Impact Grant and which will receive $4,000 Support Grants. This grant process is the lead-up to our Grant Award Night on October 20 at Valero. It is always a special evening, and I am excited to celebrate with you, our valued members, as well as the organizations and projects that will receive grants this year.
Speaking of volunteers, we are actively looking for members who would be willing to serve on our board. If you have ever thought about getting more involved, sharing your ideas, or helping shape the future of our work, this is a wonderful time to raise your hand.
