Family owned and operated since 2000, the Magnolia Pancake Haus’ famous breakfast was built around a recipe for “the world’s best” buttermilk pancakes and unique menu items made with the freshest ingredients. Magnolia Pancake Haus is Impact San Antonio’s newest Platinum sponsor. Tricia Fleming Schleicher tells us why she and the family business are supporting Impact SA.
When and how did you hear about Impact San Antonio?
I first heard about Impact SA in September of 2023 from Shirley Bennett.
When and why did you decide to become a sponsor?
Shirley invited me to the awards gala in October and after that I knew I wanted to become a member and sponsor.
What impresses you about Impact SA?
The ability to see so many San Antonio women come together to provide camaraderie and create lasting change in people’s lives. We started our own foundation (Haus Family Foundation) a few years ago to try and make small, but lasting changes and that is what I love about Impact. We are able to make big and small lasting changes in so many people’s lives.
Tell us about the Magnolia Pancake Haus restaurants. What do you enjoy about your work?
We are a family owned and operated business and have been in business for 24 years. We have grown to three restaurant locations, operate an event center and provide onsite and offsite catering. The thing I enjoy most about our business is the ability to see people’s lives grow and change right in front of our eyes. We try to promote from within, so you’ll see managers who started as hosts or servers, chefs who started as dishwashers. It doesn’t hurt to be around delicious food every day either!
