Lynn spent over 25 years working as a civil servant for the federal government including the National Cancer Institute and the US Army. During her career, she worked in medical research and medical product development before transitioning into research administration and management. She retired as the Deputy Director, Clinical and Translational Research Program Office at the US Army Medical Command in 2020.
Lynn has been an active member of Impact San Antonio since joining in 2020 after learning about it from her neighbor. She has served as a grant application reviewer, grant liaison, and special volunteer with the Agencies and Applications Committee.
Beyond Impact San Antonio, Lynn volunteers for various organizations including Meals on Wheels, United States Tennis Association, and her Homeowners Association. She loves to travel and plays tennis any chance she gets. Lynn and her husband, Pete, love animals and several rescued cats and a dog complete their family.
