Cathy Bertone

Cathy is a native San Antonian and loves all the diversity associated with the cultural of San Antonio.  Cathy had a long and rewarding career at USAA.  She retired in 2021 after 43 years of service.  Her career consisted of various roles within the organization.  For many years she served the members in the Property and Casualty (P&C) call center as a Customer Service Representative. She spent a decade in the Training and Education department in a variety of roles to include Senior Leadership, as well as several years in the HR department.  She retired from USAA as a P&C Operations Executive, where she found her greatest reward when interacting with the employees who served our Military Members.

After retirement, Cathy continues to provide servant leadership and support to the community by serving on several non-profit boards (Respite Care of San Antonio, Animal Defense League of Texas.)  In this new endeavor, she finds great satisfaction and humility.  Cathy is a graduate of the Masters Leadership Program.

Cathy earned her BA from our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX.

Cathy joined Impact in 2022 and is excited to get more involved in serving the needs of San Antonio.

Cathy and her partner Sandy and their two kids, Nico and Mia love traveling and enjoying exploring the World together.
