Lisa Paul was introduced to Impact San Antonio through the Masters Leadership program. “I was very interested when I learned that it is an all-female organization where the membership fees are used to fund grants to area non-profits. I was especially intrigued to learn that the organization is run by member volunteers rather than paid staff.” As she searched for an organization to lend her time and talents, Impact San Antonio was a perfect fit, as it was looking for someone with financial experience to serve as Assistant Treasurer. This matched up with her background and interests. “I immediately joined and am looking forward to working alongside many exceptional women.”
Lisa was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating with a bachelor’s in business administration she married and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was employed by a company with divisions in both life insurance and home equity lending and worked in both divisions in various staff and supervisory positions. The Paul’s moved away from Baton Rouge due to her husband’s employment in the petrochemical industry and lived in various locations both domestic and international. They settled into the San Antonio area in 2021 after he retired.
Lisa and her husband have two children; both are grown and married. Both couples live in South Texas, and “we are able to see them often.” Lisa enjoys gardening, traveling, cooking, and spending time in their Hill Country home with their three cats.
