Aid the Silent’s mission is to glorify God by empowering deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens through access to communication, education, resources, and community.

Grant Focus:

To complete funding for Aid the Silent’s Deaf Children & Teens Development Center through the build-out of the Sign Language and Speech Classroom—an inclusive space where deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families will receive hands-on language development, speech therapy, and communication training.

High Impact Grant

Grant Impact:

The Impact San Antonio grant represents the final piece needed to fully fund the Deaf Children & Teens Development Center—South Texas’ first comprehensive hub for deaf services. This award will bring to life the Sign Language and Speech Classroom, where children will strengthen communication skills and families will learn to sign together in a nurturing environment. By removing barriers to language access, this classroom will help hundreds of deaf and hard-of-hearing children each year find their voices and build deeper family bonds through shared understanding.
