Gemini Ink, San Antonio’s Writing Arts Center

Gemini Ink’s mission is to teach the craft of writing to people of all skill levels so they can bring their stories to life.

Grant Focus:

Gemini Ink seeks to expand its Partner Class program, which are multi-session workshops that target under-resourced youth in partnership with community-based organizations and schools. Through this expansion, we will fill our biggest service area gaps – reaching more teens, supporting youth educators, and serving locations beyond our current districts. This expansion will also enable us to reach an additional 270 underserved participants.

High Impact Grant

Grant Impact:

Gemini Ink will expand its Partner Classes program by adding a Teen Writing Circle, expanding youth programs/partnerships from 10 to 14 per year, and reaching an additional 270 students and youth educators. One of these partnerships will extend current programming (MOSAIC), another will restart a previous program (Crossroads), and three will create new programmatic offerings.
