I was born and raised in San Antonio and have been married to my husband Danny for 35 years. We have 4 children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and 2 grandsons. We met while at the University of Alabama and we settled back in San Antonio where I worked for Clarke Checks. After our youngest was born, I transitioned into part time work at Beldon Roofing so that I could spend more time with the kids and as a volunteer. Some of the organizations I have been involved in are The San Antonio Jewish Community, Clark High School Athletics, The Cancer Center Council, The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center Foundation, The Richmond Family Foundation, The Hemisfair Conservancy, and Impact San Antonio.
Having had the opportunity to be a collegiate gymnast, I always wanted to be able to give back to the gymnastics community that had been an integral part of my life and had taught me so many wonderful life lessons. After the kids were grown, I went back to work where I managed the travel, competitive schedules, attire, and volunteer work of a local gymnastics team of more than 100 athletes. I also ran a large annual meet of more that 1,600 gymnasts and oversaw a regional college recruiting event for more than 150 gymnasts and 35 colleges.
As an empty nester, I am now enjoying time traveling with my husband and friends, visiting my out of town family, and continuing to work to give back to the San Antonio community.
