Our 2018 High Impact Grant to the Friends of Government Canyon funded a beautiful new amphitheater that will be used for a variety of outdoor education opportunities at the Government Canyon State Natural Area. While the amphitheater is practically complete, the coronavirus epidemic has forced us to postpone the public opening of the facility, which had been scheduled for April 6, to sometime in October or November. Once we have a date, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, check out what’s available at one of San Antonio’s most beautiful wilderness areas.
