My heart is overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has made our 2021 Impact San Antonio grant cycle possible. Transformative grants to local nonprofits will soon be enabling these agencies to improve lives and create brighter futures.
I had the great honor of attending celebrations with each of our high impact grant recipients over the past couple of weeks. The positive energy shown by these teams of caring people who demonstrate their commitment to our community every day was so inspiring, as was their sheer joy at receiving the grants!
This magical partnership of our members, sponsors and other supporters with these outstanding High Impact and Support Grant awardees creates hope for so many people seeking a path toward a better quality of life.
What is profoundly gratifying to me is seeing so many women supporting our community, to the tune of $535,000 in grants this year. Many members also volunteer to help us fulfill our mission of making a difference. Along the way, we all learn so much about the needs in our community and how meaningful it is to help at a significant level because we pool our philanthropic dollars together.
We look forward to sharing the progress that our latest group of grantees will make with their projects and the results they expect to generate. We will also create opportunities for our members to interact with the agencies directly at our events. Their passion for their work shines through!
