Impact San Antonio is excited to welcome 2025 new member Shannon Badger! We had the opportunity to learn more about Shannon during a recent interview.
When and how did you first hear about Impact San Antonio?
I first heard about Impact San Antonio through my involvement in the local nonprofit and business community. As someone passionate about women-led organizations and philanthropy, I was immediately drawn to the mission of empowering nonprofits through collective giving.
When and why did you join Impact SA?
I joined Impact San Antonio because I believe in the power of women coming together to create meaningful change. The ability to pool resources and make a significant, direct impact on nonprofits resonated with me, and I wanted to be part of a group that amplifies the good work being done in our community.
What impresses and inspires you about Impact SA?
What truly impresses me is the collective generosity and strategic focus of the organization. Seeing so many women unite behind a common goal to fund transformative projects is incredibly inspiring. The impact on local nonprofits is tangible, and I love that every member has a voice in the grant-making process.
How have you been involved with Impact?
I’m excited to be actively involved by leveraging my financial and business background to support the organization. Whether it’s helping evaluate grant applications, mentoring nonprofit leaders, or engaging with fellow members to grow our collective impact, I look forward to contributing in meaningful ways.
What did you do for a living?
I am the CEO and Managing Partner of Badger CPA, a firm specializing in outsourced accounting, tax, and advisory services for growing businesses. My focus is on helping organizations gain financial clarity so they can scale effectively and make informed decisions. I also have a passion for supporting nonprofits and women-owned businesses through my leadership roles.
