Sometimes we ask ourselves, what kind of impact can you have on your community?
Members of Impact San Antonio experienced the answer up close. We recently had the opportunity to tour the Museo del Westside, a vibrant, living project by the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center and one of our 2020 High Impact Grant recipients.
Thanks to the generosity of our members, a historic building on San Antonio’s Westside has been transformed into a museum preserving the stories, art, and culture of one of our city’s most underserved, but deeply resilient and culturally rich communities.
This grant didn’t just fund bricks and mortar. It helped amplify voices, safeguard heritage, and inspire the next generation. The Museo del Westside is scheduled to open in the Fall.
