If you’re looking for a holiday gift with special meaning, and one that will benefit our community in the year to come, consider giving a 2021 Impact San Antonio membership to a friend or family member.
Member Jody Nash decided to give her two daughters a shared membership this year.
“They’ve always been interested in what we do in Impact SA,” Nash said of daughters Meredith Nash Hatzenbuehler, 33; and Rosalyn Nash McMahon, 28. “My oldest daughter went to Grant Award Night with me and just loved it. But they are in a place professionally and financially where $1,000 (for a membership) is not in the budget. This is a way for them to experience the giving and process of Impact SA, however they want to. It’s something good for them because they are both giving-minded.”
If you own a business, you can also sponsor one or more memberships for your employees. H-E-B sponsored two four-member shared memberships for employees this year, and other companies, including the RK Group, a catering firm, have sponsored memberships in the past. The city of San Antonio’s Office of Innovation also bought a shared membership for employees.
