Impact San Antonio’s Celebration last month was an inspiring event filled with stories of transformational change and an illustration of how the power of collective giving can fuel it. Blair Thompson, CEO of Roy Maas Youth Alternatives and a 2023 High Impact Grant recipient, spoke passionately about youth in foster care and the role we can all play in reigniting their dreams. Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda, District 6, presented a City of San Antonio proclamation congratulating Impact San Antonio on its 20th anniversary, and declared September 21, 2024 “Impact San Antonio Day.”

“WHEREAS: Through the generous hearts and dedication of its transformative members, Impact San Antonio has elevated many exceptional nonprofit agencies. By volunteering their unique skills and talents and passion for driving change, and through its major events, including Grant Award Night and Impact in Action. Since its inception, the organization has contributed over $5.9 million and invested it into community projects….”
For 20 years, the women of Impact San Antonio have been connecting, empowering and transforming our community. Through the continued collective generosity of our extraordinary members, Impact SA will once again this year award significant grants that will help deserving nonprofits change lives and better circumstances for many in our community.
Grant Award Night 2024 is upon us, and will take place on Monday, October 28, in the Rosenberg Skyroom at the University of the Incarnate Word. On this night, we will reveal this year’s recipients of High Impact and Support grants totaling $530,000. We look forward to our members voting to award five $100,000 High Impact Grants and five $6,000 Support Grants.
