Happy Women’s History Month to some of the most caring, engaged women I know—yes, I mean YOU! Most of us probably won’t see our names in a history book or cast in bronze, but that’s never been the point. Time and again, it’s the women working quietly, steadily, and often behind the scenes who make history possible in the first place. The ones who set the stage, uplift others, and keep things moving forward—those are the stories that deserve just as much light.
That spirit is exactly what defines us. As collective-giving philanthropists, we help set the stage for our nonprofit partners to do the important work that keeps our community strong, connected, and thriving. Every time you say, “Yes, I’ll renew” or “I’d love to join,” you’re part of that momentum. And that matters more than you may realize.
Since our last newsletter, we have been recognized with the Spotlight Award at the Philanos PowerUp! Conference, given to honor grants that demonstrate high-impact, transformational, and intentional philanthropy. The award highlighted our grant to the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center’s Museo del Westside, noting its powerful celebration of Mexican American history and the vital role this community played in shaping San Antonio. Our investment, they shared, affirms “dignity, heritage, and opportunity.” It was a privilege to accept the $500 award on your behalf—and in true collective spirit; the board unanimously voted to share it with Esperanza. The check is already on its way.
In the coming days, you’ll also see our Annual Report. It’s more than a summary—it’s a reflection of what we’ve built together. Inside, you’ll find stories, photos, and milestones that capture the impact of your generosity in 2025. Many hands go into creating this for you—we hope you’ll take a moment to explore it, share it, and feel proud of the role you’ve played in making it all possible.
