Tania Eubanks isn’t only a new Impact San Antonio member. She’s also a new sponsor!
Tania, general manager of North Park Toyota of San Antonio, arranged for the dealership to become a Gold Sponsor for Impact SA this year. If you watched our virtual Grant Award Night last month, you saw her explaining why she believes in giving back to the community.
We asked Tania what she thinks about Impact SA. Here are her answers to a series of questions, including quotes taken from the Grant Award Night video.
How did you first hear about Impact San Antonio?
The first time I heard about Impact SA was through friend and member Michelle Sanders (Jacobson). Last year, she invited me to your annual awards ceremony.
Why did you decide to join?
{At Grant Award Night 2019} I had the opportunity to see how Impact San Antonio gave thousands and thousands of dollars to nonprofit organizations. And, honestly, that was a very powerful moment. On that day, I decided I wanted to be part of something like that. I joined because of the impact you’re making in our community. It’s a very strong organization that’s dedicated to helping others.
When did you join?
March 2020.
What impresses you most about Impact SA?
It’s the fact that everything Impact SA does is to help other people and the San Antonio community. They help a very diverse group of people. They are not just focusing on one particular area or group.
How did you learn about sponsorship?
Michelle talked to me about the different ways that we can support this great group, by sponsoring and joining.
Tell us about your career and where you have lived.
I am general manager of the North Park Toyota store. I’m in charge of sales, service and parts. I’ve been there two and a half years, but I’ve been the car business for 22 years. I was born and raised in Ecuador and moved to the States in 1998. I’ve lived in El Paso, Houston, Dallas and now San Antonio. My favorite city out all of them is San Antonio because of how nice and generous people from San Antonio are. This is the place where I will retire.
In the end, what do you appreciate most about being a member of Impact SA?
Giving back to your community is something that makes you feel a lot better about what you do every single day.
