Impact San Antonio has been named the 2025 Outstanding Foundation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) San Antonio Chapter during their annual Philanthropy Day event on February 14, 2025. Our nomination was made by Barbara Goldman, CEO of TeamABILITY, the recipient of a 2021 High Impact Grant. “Impact San Antonio’s collective giving impacts not only the missions of its grant recipients but also its members and our community,” said Goldman.
The award presentation accompanied a video interview with Cassandra Parker-Nowicki, Executive Director of Carver Community Cultural Center, a recipient of a 2021 High Impact Grant. She called Impact SA, the most thoughtful funder she had ever worked with. “From the very first interaction, it became clear to me that they wanted us to be as successful as possible. They were there every step of the way, and even after we were awarded the grant for our Mobile Arts Lab, Impact SA members were champions of our organization beyond the project they were funding.” View interview HERE.
Goldman’s nomination was also accompanied by endorsement letters from Rebecca Helterbrand, President & CEO of Respite Care; Mel Zarb-Cousin, Managing Director of Magik Theatre; and Chris Rodriguez, Executive and Artistic Director of Wonder Theatre – all High Impact Grant recipients over the past few years.
