How did you learn about Impact San Antonio?

One of my dearest friends and colleague Oralia Anaya worked with another Impact SA member, Cynthia Schluter, and her family company, to set up a recurring donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation.  When Oralia took a promotion out of town, she reached out to me knowing that I am overtly passionate about women being capable of anything, especially in large groups, and asked that I take a look and see if this is something I would like to carry on.  I called her walking out of my very first meeting and thanked her for knowing that this was something special I would benefit from.

Why is Impact SA a good fit for Enterprise?

I’ve been to other organizations, countless luncheons and so many meetings with other entities intending to push women forward in the professional world; but they fell flat in the “what are we really changing” department.  I would leave with my social cup filled, but my social justice cup just as empty as when I walked in. My first Impact SA meeting had me in tears; tears of action—I felt immediately called to become a part of this amazing thing that is so much bigger than one member and joined before the evening was halfway through.

What impresses you about Impact San Antonio?

The focus that each member has on doing the most—having the largest possible impact and treating grant recipients as the true investment they are. At a time when the whole world seems crazy and so many things are out of our control, we can join together and know that in San Antonio (and surrounding areas) we are truly able to enact change and strive to leave our part of the world better than we found it

Tell us about your role at Enterprise Fleet Management.

I work with South Texas business owners as a financial advisor and data analyst for their fleet operations. I love being a trusted advisor who can have a direct positive impact on the bottom line of a business.  My clients know that I take a lot of pride in making a financial plan, executing it, and seeing them reap the benefits, while making their fleet safer, increasing employee satisfaction, and finding efficiencies unique to my industry.
